Jeannette Huezo, UFE's Executive Director and Senior Popular Educator, was recently featured on MassLive as an inspirational and accomplished leader with a commitment to social change.
In recognition of Hispanic Heritage Month, MassLive asked readers to identify people who are emerging Hispanic leaders, working to make a difference in Massachusetts. Of course Jeannette has been a leader for many decades! She has inspired and continues to inspire untold numbers of people to build their critical analyses of inequality and to take action to change unfair systems -- first in El Salvador and now for many decades in the United States. We were thrilled to see her recognized for her good work for communities.
